WE FREQUENRY USE



 I. Simple Present Tense
Menyatakan rutinitas / fakta umun
Rumus :
o   (+) S + V1 (s/es)
o   (-)  S + do/does + not + V1
o   (?)  Do/does + S + V1 ?
Example :

o   (+) they go to campus by bus
o   (-)  they do not go to campus by bus
o   (?)  Do they go to campus by bus ?

o   (+) he goes to campus by bus
o   (-)  he does not go to campus by bus
o   (?)  does he go to campus by bus ?

II. Simple Past Tense
Menyatakan masa lampau
Rumus :
o   (+) S + V2
o   (-)  S + did + not + V1
o   (?)  Did + S + V1 ?
Example :
o   (+) they went to campus by bu
o   (-)  they did not go to campus by bus
o   (?)  Did they go to campus by bus ?

o   (+) he drank coffee
o   (-)  he did not drink coffee
o   (?)  did he drink coffee ?


III. Present / Past Continues tense
Kejadian yang sedang berlangsung
Rumus :
o   (+) S + to be + Ving
o   (-)  S + to be + not + Ving
o   (?)  to be + S + Ving ?
Example :
o   (+) we are washing car
o   (-)  we are not washing car
o   (?)  are we washing car ?

o   (+) Ghufron is eating cake
o   (-)  Ghufron is not eating cake
o   (?)  Is Ghufron eating cake  ?

IV.  Simple Future Tense
Keadaan yang belum terjadi , rencana, masa depan atau kejadian yang akan datang
Rumus :
o   (+) S + will + V1
o   (-)  S + will + not + V1
o   (?) Will + S + V1 ?
Example :
o   (+) I will holiday in beach
o   (-)  I will not holiday in beach
o   (?)  will I holiday in beach ?

o   (+) Ghufron will gather with family
o   (-)  Ghufron will not gather with family
o   (?)  Will Ghufron gather with family ?

V.  Present Perfect Tense
Kejadian lampau tetapi masih nampak atau terlihat
Rumus :
o   (+) S + has/have + V3
o   (-)  S + has/have + not + V3
o   (?) Has/have + S + V3 ?
Example :
o   (+) I have started the course
o   (-)  I have not started the course
o   (?)  have I started the course ?
